The International Sports Information System, or ISIS, is an ASOIF initiative to simultaneously improve the quality and increase the quantity of data available from the 28 Summer Olympic sports, giving access on a single common platform to business and media end users and increase potential exposure for all ASOIF members.
Through ISIS, the International Federations will take ownership and control of the collection, verification, distribution and exploitation of their sports data. ISIS will enable the International Federations to improve their own data information systems and IT systems, which will be compatible with the new common data platform.
ISIS has partnered with Atos, an IOC TOP sponsor, to deliver the first phase of the project which will create a common data platform to provide a single point for results and biographical data of athletes.
