The sixth edition of the annual IF Forum will take place in Lausanne November 12-14, 2012, and will once again offer representatives from international federations an opportunity to discuss important current issues and share ideas about best management practices, through a series of workshops, case studies and discussion groups
The theme of this year's event will be "Increasing the positive impact of your event: Sustainable Event Management". Presentation sessions and workshops will engage in the wide spectrum of event sustainability and include speakers strongly experienced in this area.
The keynote addresses, breakout sessions and workshops will engage topics such as: London 2012: A sustainable investment for the environment and the community; Why it is crucial to integrate sustainability into the bid process and how to do it; Sustainability online education platform; Sustainability as part of the bidding process (makind sustainability a core element of the bid). In addition, the final day of the Forum will focus on event reporting tools and sustainability measures.

Registration for the IF Forum is open to a maximum of two delegates per IF. Already more than 150 people have registred and 21 out of the 28 ASOIF Members are already represented (if you haven't registred yet, please click here). We suggest that you send those members who will benefit most from the workshops to represent you at this event. As in previous years, the conference will include a series of focused break-out workshops running simultaneously, with wrap-ups of each group's findings delivered to the combined audience at the end of the day.
