UK Company PruHealth to Sponsor ITU World Triathlon Series Climax in London |

Triathlon - 28 Jan 2013 - PruHealth, the UK health insurance provider, has today been named as the title sponsor of the 2013 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final London, the climax to the sport’s top international series.
The event will take place in Hyde Park, the venue for last year’s Olympic triathlon races, from September 11 to 15.
It will be the fourth time that London has hosted a round of the ITU World Triathlon Series, but the first time that the Grand Final will be held in the UK capital.
As part of its deal, PruHealth, which is a joint venture between UK insurer Prudential and international health investment firm Discovery, will offer 1,000 race entries to its members for the Open Age-Group Races to be held alongside the Grand Final.
The agreement was brokered by Upsolut, the German sports marketing agency which is owned by the Lagardère Unlimited Group and is a commercial partner of the International Triathlon Union and the British Triathlon Federation.
ITU president Marisol Casado said: “We are very excited PruHealth will be the title sponsor of the Grand Final London for several reasons. PruHealth's goals of empowering the community to live healthy, active lives are symmetric with our own objectives to encourage overall wellbeing. It is always special to return to an Olympic venue, and the fact that PruHealth is a UK-based company will only serve to increase our outreach for the Grand Final in London."
