The CEV, European volleyball's governing body, has launched the bidding process for various beach volleyball events in 2014 and 2015.
The major property is the 2015 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship Final, which involves 32 men’s and women’s duos.
The Italian capital Rome will stage next year's final, while Biel, in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, was named as the 2016 host in August, as part of an agreement struck between the CEV, Swiss Volley and 4sports & Entertainment Ltd, the Switzerland-based sports marketing company, under which the city will also stage Masters tournaments in 2014 and 2015 in a three-year "strategic co-operation."
CEV member associations can also submit bids to host the Under-18, Under-20 and Under-22 age-grade Beach Volleyball European Championships in 2014, as well as that year's CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship Masters, satellite events and the CEV Youth Beach Volleyball Continental Cup Final, at which six teams per gender will qualify to represent Europe at the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China.
Interested parties can contact the CEV Beach Volleyball Department at email@example.com for further information or clarifications on the bidding process. Applications for all bids must be received by October 31 at the latest.
