Francesco Ricci Bitti has been a senior executive and board member of several leading multi-national information and communication technology companies. On the sports administration side, he served as member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) between 2006 and 2012 as well as Executive Board Member of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) between 1999 and 2015, he remains ITF Honorary Life President. Currently, Francesco Ricci Bitti is a member of the IOC Coordination Commissions for Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, member of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Executive Committee and Foundation Board and member of SportAccord. He is also a board member of the International Testing Agency (ITA).

Uğur Erdener

Prof Dr Uğur Erdener, a widely-respected physician, is an IOC Vice-President, Chair of the IOC Medical and Sports Science Commission and member of the WADA Executive Committee. Marisol Casado

Marisol Casado was elected President of the International Triathlon Union (ITU) in 2008. An IOC Member since 2010, she is part of various IOC Commissions such as the Women in Sport Commission and the Coordination Commission for Paris 2024. Sebastian Coe

A double Olympic champion, Sebastian Coe was Chairman of the London 2012 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.  In 2015, he was elected President of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). He is also Chancellor of Loughborough University, Executive Chairman of CSM Sport and Entertainment and a member of the IOC Coordination Commission for Tokyo 2020. Ingmar De Vos

Ingmar De Vos was elected President of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) in 2014, and re-elected for a second term in 2018. An IOC Member since 2017, he is part of the IOC Legal Affairs Commission and Digital & Technology Commission. He is also a GAISF Council Member, GAISF representative on the WADA Executive Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Belgium Olympic Committee. Nenad Lalović

Nenad Lalović was elected United World Wrestling (UWW) President in 2013. Beforehand, he served as President of the Serbian Wrestling Federation, on the Bureaus of CELA (Conseil Européen des Luttes Associées) former name of UWW European Council, and the Serbian Olympic Committee. In 2015 he became an IOC Member and is part of the Olympic Solidarity Commission. Nenad Lalovic was elected as the ASOIF representative to the IOC Executive Board in February 2018. Morinari Watanabe

Morinari Watanabe was elected President of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) in 2016. Beforehand, he served as the Secretary General of the Japanese Gymnastics Association. An IOC Member since 2018, he is part of the IOC Women in Sport Commission. He is also an Executive Board Member of the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Andrew Ryan

Executive Director

Andrew Ryan became the Executive Director of ASOIF in 2006. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of the International Badminton Federation (BWF). He is currently a member of the IOC Programme Commission and the Coordination Commissions for the Dakar 2022 Youth Olympic Games and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He served on the 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games Evaluation Commissions.

The Council is composed of a President and six Members, all from different Federations.
One of the six Members is elected as Vice President.
The President and all the Members are elected for 4-year mandates.
The Executive Director is nominated by the Council on the proposal of the President as an executive position. The Executive Director is also on the Council, but without voting rights.
