Fifa today opened the bidding process to find a host of the Women's World Cup in 2023.

Member associations have been given until 15 March to submit a completed expression of interest form to the federation.

Bid books are due by 4 October, with the winning country to be selected by the Fifa council in March 2020.

Gianni Infantino will be free to push ahead with his plans to revamp world soccer after Fifa announced today that he is the sole candidate for June's presidential election.

The 48-year-old Swiss official was first elected, after a hard-fought campaign, to succeed Sepp Blatter in 2016, and will now serve a second-term, with his coronation set for Paris on 5 June.
