Eurosport, the pan-European sports broadcaster, has secured exclusive rights in the UK to live coverage of the FINA Diving World Series event in London from 17 to 19 May.
The competition at the London Aquatics Centre will be broadcast on Eurosport 2, and accompanied by streaming on Eurosport Player online and on mobile devices.
Eurosport partnered with British Swimming, the sport’s governing body in the UK, to reach the agreement for the last event on the 2019 calendar.
Jamie Steward, senior director of production and broadcast at Eurosport, said: “As an official Olympic Broadcaster we are excited to add the Diving World Series from London to our portfolio of Olympic programming…. Our aim is to deliver great content to a passionate UK audience as we head towards Tokyo 2020.”
The 2019 FINA Diving World Series started in March, and events have already taken place in Sagamihara (Japan), Beijing (China) and Montreal (Canada), with the final two in Kazan (Russia) and London.
