The FIVB, volleyball's governing body, has opened a small bidding window to find a host for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2021.
The FIVB said expressions of interest forms must be sent by email to bidding [(at)] fivb [(dot)] org by 5pm (CET) on 15 August.
The federation may conduct a final round of bidding based on the proposals received.
Vienna in Austria staged the most recent Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2017, and Hamburg in Germany will play host next year.
Last week, the CEV, the European volleyball confederation, named the Russian capital Moscow as the host of the 2019 Beach Volleyball European Championship.
