The Gymnastics Ethics Foundation (GEF) has published its 2020 Annual Report, which summarises the key activities of its second year of operation.
In her message at the beginning of the report, GEF President Micheline Calmy-Rey said: “In the context of the airing of topical documentaries, the COVID-19 pandemic, and perhaps in part due to a slowdown in the competition calendar, athletes found their voice. 2020 was a momentous year that drew attention to non-accidental violence in Gymnastics. We strongly believe that this awareness is essential to bringing about positive and lasting change.”
The report provides an overview of important developments in 2020. It also gives an overview of cases that were dealt with; of the Foundation’s communication activities; the most important internal processes; as well as the plans for the future.
The Foundation’s audited financial accounts are also included in the report.
