Francesco Ricci Bitti

Francesco Ricci Bitti has been a senior executive and board member of several leading multi-national information and communication technology companies. On the sports administration side, he served as member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) between 2006 and 2012. President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) between 1999 and 2015, he remains ITF Honorary Life President. Currently, Francesco Ricci Bitti is Member of IOC's Coordination Commissions for Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028, Future Host Commission for the Games of the Olympiad, Marketing Commission and Olympic Channel Commission. He is also a Board Member of the International Testing Agency (ITA).

Prof Dr Uğur Erdener, a widely-respected physician, is the Chair of the IOC Medical and Sports Science Commission and member of the WADA Executive Committee. Sebastian Coe

A double Olympic champion, Sebastian Coe was elected President of World Athletics in 2015. Beforehand, he was the Chairman of the London 2012 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. An IOC Member elected in 2020, he is a member of the IOC Public Affairs and Social Development Through Sport Commission. Ingmar De Vos was elected President of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) in 2014, re-elected for a second term in 2018 and re-elected for a third and final term in 2022. An IOC Member since 2017, he is part of the IOC Legal Affairs Commission and Digital & Technology Commission. He is also a SportAccord Executive Committee member, ASOIF representative on the WADA Executive Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Belgium Olympic Committee. Nenad Lalovic

Nenad Lalović was elected United World Wrestling (UWW) President in 2013. Beforehand, he served as President of the Serbian Wrestling Federation, on the Bureau of UWW European Council (formerly known as the Conseil Européen des Luttes Associées), and the Serbian Olympic Committee. In 2015 he became an IOC Member and is part of the Olympic Solidarity Commission. Nenad Lalović was re-elected as the Summer IF representative to the IOC Executive Board in 2022. Petra Sörling

Petra Sörling was elected President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) in 2021, the first woman to hold this position. She has been a member of the ITTF Executive Board since 2009. She is a SportAccord Executive Committee member and an ASOIF representative on the WADA Foundation Board, as well as a member of the IOC Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Commission. Morinari Watanabe

Morinari Watanabe was elected President of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) in 2016. Beforehand, he served as the Secretary General of the Japanese Gymnastics Association. An IOC Member since 2018, he is part of the IOC Women in Sport Commission. He is also an Executive Board Member of the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Andrew Ryan

Executive Director

Andrew Ryan became the Executive Director of ASOIF in 2006. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Badminton World Federation (BWF). He is currently a member of the IOC Programme Commission and the Coordination Commissions for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Dakar 2026 Summer Youth Olympic Games. He also served on the 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games Evaluation Commissions.

The Council is composed of a President and six Members, all from different Federations.
One of the six Members is elected as Vice President.
The President and all the Members are elected for 4-year mandates.
The Executive Director is nominated by the Council on the proposal of the President as an executive position. The Executive Director is also on the Council, but without voting rights.
