Established in 2012 and previously known as the ASOIF Olympic and Multi-Sport Games Consultative Group (AOMSG), the ASOIF Olympic Games Committee (AOGC) is mandated by the ASOIF Council to assist the ASOIF members with common and collective matters in regard to the preparation and delivery of the Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games. The AOGC collaborates closely with the ASOIF members, the International Olympic Committee, the Organising Committees of the Olympic Games and relevant stakeholders.

The Governance Task Force (GTF) was created in November 2015, following an ASOIF Council decision and discussions about governance at the IF Forum earlier that month. The GTF is mandated with helping International Federations (IFs) to promote and ensure a culture of good governance within their structures.

The GTF is chaired by Snežana Samardžić-Marković, former Director General of Democracy, Council of Europe; Independent Senior Expert for Human Rights in Sport.

ASOIF has created seven Commissions to leverage the expertise of its Member International Federations (IFs) in important areas: a Medical and Science; a Legal; a Sport Development and Education; a Commercial; a Technology and Innovation; a Sustainability; and a Diversity and Gender Equality Commission.  As an umbrella organisation ASOIF has access to specialists and experts of all fields from within its membership.
