The ASOIF Sport Development and Education Commission (ASDEC)
The ASDEC was created in 2012.
It is responsible for giving expert advice in the area of Sport Development and Education.
Chaired by Ms Deqa Niamkey, Development Director at United World Wrestling (UWW), the commission meets twice a year and organises an annual forum for all ASOIF member IFs to coordinate their approaches and share knowledge in development and education.
Members of the commission are:
- Mikael Andersson, Sport & Development Director of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF)
- Daniela Gomes, Head of Development of World Rowing
- Colin Grahamslaw, Secretary General of the World Curling Federation (WCF) (AIOWF Representative)
- Juan Carlos Holgado, Executive Director of World Archery
- Jock Peggie, Head of Education, Laws and Compliance of World Rugby
- Ian Wright, Director of Development of Badminton World Federation (BWF)
